About this tool

This online color picker lets you choose a color and instantly get its HEX, RGB and HSL codes, ready to copy. It also works as an image eyedropper: import a picture, click a pixel and get its exact color. Useful for designers, web developers, social media managers and shop owners who need to match the color of a logo, a photo or any visual.

A magnifier shows the pixels around the point you picked, and you can fine-tune the selection with the arrow keys. The tool also extracts up to 8 dominant colors from the image, each one clickable. It accepts JPG, PNG and WEBP files up to 30 MB and 40 million pixels. You can also type a 3- or 6-digit HEX code to convert it to RGB and HSL.

Frequently asked questions

Is my image uploaded to a server?

No. The image is read and analysed only in your browser; it is never uploaded or stored, and you can remove it at any time.

Is this color picker free?

Yes, the tool is completely free and works without an account or sign-up.

How do I find the color code of a logo or photo?

Import the image and click the area with the color you want. The magnifier shows the neighbouring pixels, and the arrow keys let you adjust the selection pixel by pixel before copying the HEX, RGB or HSL code.

What happens with transparent areas in a PNG?

They are shown on a white background and their color is sampled against that background. A semi-transparent area therefore gives a color blended with white.
