About this tool
This document scanner works with your phone camera or with photos you have already taken. It finds the sheet on a darker background and places its four corners, which you can adjust by hand or with the keyboard, then corrects the perspective: a page shot at an angle becomes a straight rectangle again. The background is then evened out to remove shadows and the yellow cast of indoor light, with four looks to choose from: original colour, enhanced colour, greyscale or crisp photocopy-style black and white with an adjustable threshold.
Add as many pages as you need, reorder, rotate or delete them, then download a PDF in A4, US Letter or image size, or JPG files (as a ZIP for several pages). It is handy for sending a receipt, archiving invoices, digitising a delivery note or class notes without a scanner or an app to install, and everything is computed in your browser: your documents are never uploaded.
