About this tool
This SVG optimizer cleans up files saved by vector drawing apps: it removes metadata, comments and editor-specific data, rounds coordinates to the precision you choose, shortens colours, merges compatible paths and drops invisible elements. Paste some code or import one or more files, and the result appears straight away next to the original, with the size before and after and the saving as a percentage.
Every optimisation is checked: both versions are drawn on a canvas and compared pixel by pixel, so any visible difference is flagged. You can then grab the minified or indented code, a data URI ready for CSS, an img tag or a React component, and download files one by one or all together in a ZIP archive. The engine is SVGO (MIT licence), running entirely in your browser: your files are never uploaded.
