Trim Transparent Edges
Automatically crop empty borders from your images in batches: transparency or a solid colour, adjustable padding, square output and PNG, WebP or ZIP export.
Everything is created in your browser: no image or colour is sent to a server.
About this tool
This tool finds and removes unwanted borders from one or more images: the transparent area around a PNG or WebP logo, or the plain background (white, black or any other colour) surrounding a JPG. It reads the corner colour, applies an adjustable tolerance to ignore almost-empty pixels and slight compression noise, then crops tightly around the content. SVG files are rasterised at the size you choose before trimming.
You can then add even padding in pixels or as a percentage, centre the result in a square for an icon or avatar, and decide how the padding is filled. The before and after preview shows the dimensions of every image. Download one image at a time, everything in a single ZIP file or as successive downloads, in the original format or converted to PNG or WebP. Everything runs in your browser and no image is uploaded.
