About this tool

This free studio lets you draw glyphs on an adjustable dot grid: pixel logos, icons, shop signs, embroidery and cross-stitch charts, textile patterns or retro visuals for social media. You choose the dot shape (square, round, diamond, cross, star, bar), the spacing, the corner rounding and an edge merge that joins neighbouring dots into solid shapes. A seeded random generator suggests runes, patterns, creatures, organic shapes or monograms, with symmetries, locked settings and a history of every roll.

Alphabet mode turns the grid into a font cell: you draw A-Z, a-z, digits, punctuation and accented letters (é, è, à, ç, ñ, ü, ö, ä, ß, ¿, ¡…), and accents can be built automatically. A 5 × 7 starter pixel font and a matching-alphabet generator mean you never start from a blank page. Type a sample text to test it live, then export the font as OTF or TTF, the text as SVG or PNG, and the drawing as clean vector SVG, high-resolution transparent PNG or a repeating pattern. Projects save as JSON so you can pick them up later.
