About this tool
This social media image resizer crops a picture to the exact dimensions used by Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and Pinterest. Pick the platform, then the format (post, story, banner, thumbnail, pin and more), and the tool fits your photo without stretching it. Handy for restaurants, shops, freelancers and social media managers who post regularly across several networks.
There are 17 preset formats, for example Instagram Story 1080 × 1920 px, YouTube thumbnail 1280 × 720 px or LinkedIn profile cover 1584 × 396 px. The dimensions and aspect ratio are shown under the format list. Zoom and the horizontal and vertical position sliders let you choose which part of the image stays visible. The final image is saved as a JPG at the exact size of the format.

The tool uses 1080 × 1920 px for Instagram and Facebook stories and 1280 × 720 px for YouTube thumbnails. Just select the matching format and the dimensions are applied automatically.
Will my image be stretched?
No. The image is scaled to cover the whole format while keeping its proportions, and anything outside is cropped. Use zoom and the position sliders to choose the visible part. Transparent areas turn white in the JPG.
