About this tool

This free reader decodes QR codes and barcodes right in your browser, from the camera (front or back, with the torch when the device allows it) or from an image: a file, a dragged screenshot or an image pasted with Ctrl+V. It recognises QR Code, Micro QR, Data Matrix, Aztec, PDF417, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, ITF, Codabar and DataBar, and finds several codes in the same picture.

The content is presented according to its type: a clickable link showing the real address with a warning before opening, a Wi-Fi network with its password, a business card, an email, a phone number, a text message, a location or plain text. Everything can be copied in one click, and a history keeps your latest scans in this browser. No image is uploaded: decoding happens on your device.
