EXIF Viewer and Cleaner

See what your photos give away: camera, lens, settings, date and sometimes the exact place where they were taken. Then strip that information before you post or send your pictures.

About this tool

This free EXIF viewer shows all the metadata in a JPEG, PNG or WebP photo: camera and lens, settings (aperture, shutter speed, ISO, focal length, flash), dates, dimensions, software, author and copyright, GPS location with a link to OpenStreetMap, as well as IPTC and XMP blocks and the ICC colour profile. A warning appears as soon as a photo contains a location, which can reveal your home or your habits.

You can then clean your photos in bulk: remove all metadata, or only the GPS location while keeping the rest. JPEG files are cleaned without recompression by removing the data blocks, so the image stays identical to the pixel. The orientation and colour profile can be kept. Download each file or all of them in a ZIP. Nothing is uploaded: everything happens in your browser.
