About this tool
The DPE label generator creates, in seconds, the two labels required in a French property listing: the energy label, from A to G, and the climate label (greenhouse gas emissions). It adds the consumption and emission values, the estimated annual energy cost with the reference year of prices, and the “excessive energy consumption” statement for classes F and G.
Classes are copied from the home’s energy performance diagnosis (DPE), which already takes into account the double energy-climate threshold and the thresholds adapted to homes of 40 m² or less since 1 July 2024. The image downloads as PNG for portals, social media or a poster, and the text can be copied into the listing.

What must a French listing show about the DPE?
The energy and climate classes, the estimated annual energy cost for standard use with the reference year of prices, and for classes F and G the statement “logement à consommation énergétique excessive”.
Does the tool calculate the class?
No: the class comes from the DPE drawn up by a certified assessor. It depends on the double energy-climate threshold and, for small homes, on adapted thresholds.
Is there a minimum size for the letters?
Yes, in a listing the class letters are capitals and at least as large as the text characters.
