Animated Blob Studio
Draw soft shapes with your mouse or finger that breathe, ripple and push each other, link them into a network, then export a video, an animated SVG or an image for your website and social media.
About this tool
This studio simulates organic shapes, or “blobs”, as chains of masses joined by springs: each outline keeps its area, inflates, quivers and bounces off its neighbours. Six sliders set their behaviour (size, excitability, inflation, stiffness, chaos and speed). You draw blobs, soft lines or circles, then move, pin, freeze or delete them; attractors, repellers and particle emitters bring the scene to life, and automatic links (chain, Delaunay triangulation, k nearest neighbours or branching growth) draw a living network.
The look is fully adjustable: outline, solid fill, animated gradient or rainbow, background, grid and a glowing segment that travels along the outlines. Use the result as an animated website background, a social media visual or a short motion design clip: export WebM video, a light animated SVG that loops inside a web page, PNG and a series of frames captured at intervals. Projects save as JSON so you can pick them up later, and everything stays in your browser.
